Aniforte: A review

Welcome back to the blog!

This post is all about Aniforte, a family run German company, who have recently started selling their range of animal supplements and foods in the UK. The team at Aniforte recently got in touch to ask if we would like to write a review, and very kindly sent us some items to try out.

Tilly is a pooch with sensitive innards, so if I’m adding anything extra to her diet it is generally of the natural variety. Of course ‘natural’ is a little subjective, but for me it means keeping things simple, high in quality, and without harsh chemicals, given that, I’m delighted to be working with a company who’s tagline isΒ “for naturally healthy pets”.

First up. Salmon Oil.Β

Known for its benefit to coats and skin, I was very keen to give this a go with Tilly and her lustrous curls. Salmon oil is has also been observed to help brain function too, perfect for training purposes! You can read more about the benefits of this supplement here.

For Tilly’s weight I have been adding a little under 5 ml in with her food daily.

Tilly’s curls can sometimes get a bit dry from her rump towards the base of her tail, and I’m pleased to report a noticeable improvement since adding salmon oil. It’s not noticeable in photos, but is just a little more silky to touch.

Denta Clean & Care Anti- Plaque Powder.

We are very fortunate with Tilly, who has always had clean, strong teeth, and I definitely want to keep it that way!

I had never considered adding anything to her food to aid plaque reduction, and was curious to see its effect.

I didn’t notice any change using this product, but this may be as Tilly’s teeth are in good condition, and we have only been using this for a few weeks.

Does anyone use this product? I’d be really interested to know how it worked with your pup!

Tilly’s top pick. Sprats!

All dogs love a fishy snack, and Tilly is no exception. These tiny dried fish came in a massive 200g tub, so…Sprat party at our house!

Although it’s probably super obvious, there are no artificial additives, just a high protein, healthy snack. The only downside…stinky! They are fish after all, so most definitely an outside snack…

Although I feed Tilly complete meals currently, if I was to start making them myself, Aniforte will be the first place I look for vitamin and mineral components.

Thanks for reading our review of Aniforte, you can check out their website here.
